For sale our own Williams 1980 Black Knight. Been tombstoned for many years , recently bought back to life.
Early production model, with transformer in the backbox. Also has the early production orange lock inserts.
I will try and include all the recent works carried out but it was loads of stuff so I probs will forget some. But any questions just ask!
To qualify...... this is a very good players condition machine. It is not mint and it has not been fully refurbished by us. But none the less a reasonably rare opportunity to purchase a popular classic game with original playfield and cabinet.
CABINET CONDITION.
Above average for its age but far from wonderful. Has a few chips out of the edges of the backbox, most filled and painted. The cabinet has some slight fade to one side and some occasional light scratching. Has metal leg protectors fitted. Coin door nice and straight. No lock bar holes.
New side rail nails.
Polished lockdown bar.
Pretty clean inside.
PLAYFIELD CONDITION.
This is an original playfield. The lower is in very good condition with the usual wear around inserts and ball swirls. But looks very presentable.
Upper playfield is worn. Has been touched up before my ownership so would benefit from a hardtop if your that fussy. But as most the touching in is above the pop bumper it’s not a big problem. It has been stripped, cleaned, cut , polished and waxed.
BACKGLASS CONDITION.
N.O.S. C.P.R. backglass(from 2015). Excellent with new polished lift trim and new set of side trims.
PCB CONDITION.
New “pinballpcb” driver and cpu. (£500+). Rebuilt power board inc. high voltage section. Running on an inkochnito bridge rectifier board with additional earth.
THE GOOD. (Depends on your opinion).
Red Titans.
New posts.
Comets in G.i. And inserts.
Two way speaker system inc. x over.
Gorgeous “pinball couple” led etched metal ramps.
Prototype inlane plastics. (Spaced to correct height).
Dual yellow cabinet buttons. (New).
Red shooter rod.
“Missing plastic” (google it!) top left of playfield.
New flippers.
Titan flipper rubbers.
Wms flipper upgrade. (30v). With new coils on lower flippers.(inc. eos switches).
Extra g.i. Under sword plastic to illuminate top playfield.
Illuminated “multiball” saucer.
Re-painted backglass illumination board. (With new iridescent lamps).
New target decals.
New spinner decals.
80% new plastics with no cracks or breaks.
New balls.
New pop bumper cap. Hot pressed not decal.
Pop bumper body, ring and yoke.
New playfield Glass.
Custom “lit” apron cards.
And things I have forgotten.
THE BAD.
Coil weak on bell. None in the U.K., so game has no bell.
Pinflation.
THE PRICE.
Prepare to get yer
