Who would have thought a bit of crinkly foil would turn into the holy grail of 90s pinball ??
The attempt story is an interesting read, but c'mon - considering this is something produced over 20 years ago, how the hell has nobody been able to successfully replicate it? Whoever can do it (and get PPS to give them the rights to allow them to do it) will be a very rich man!
You'd need to get someone to machine the embossing tool.
The tool would be a big investment and might take a few attempts to get right to be 100% true to the original.
Would need to be drawn,then programmed and cut on a 4 axis mill .
Then print,foil and roll them on sticker paper through something like this

Thinking about this logically (for once!) - it only needs two "views" - if you follow the lights it's every other one, so left and right.... Cant see it being TOO hard for someone "in the know"!!
Dang. You just missed one on Pinside for a not unreasonable $250, considering what some have sold for - this was just the waterfall standup. but thats the important bit !
