White or coloured LED

Thinking about putting LEDs on NF as I find the game quite dark and once again I am back to the same dilemma: white or coloured LEDs.

I did DW a couple of years back with coloured LEDs and I quite like the results but I also thought DW was quite a dark game to start with.

I then did TS with white LEDs and I liked it too. It was more subtle but I felt it suited the game well. And I remember what type of white I used either.

Anyway interested in people view on this all debate. What shall I fit to NF?

I always think of it like era - white sunlight would really look lovely on all WPC and before. SAM era starts to change to cool white in my eyes from a "what works" perspective. In saying this, I do wonder whether cool white might be a nice approach to the GI in NF.

To be clear, we are talking about GI right, not inserts? I always match inserts to their colour - unless they are white, which on No Fear, if I remember rightly the three centre "mini-wizards" are white. Again, I would go sunlight normally, but on NF, the striking cool white would work with the clean white look of the skull. IMHO.

I was talking about GI and inserts. On TS I used white LED on the inserts and i thought it worked well. These inserts used to have normal incandescent bulbs and I wasn't looking for a massive change in brightness. It worked for me.
