This could well be the world's dullest thread but it's not quite drinking time yet so that's my excuse :D

Just wondering how much people are actually playing their pins ? And what are you playing currently . I don't really play as much as I used to tbh ..... some weeks hardly at all, other weeks more and certainly more if pin loving visitors stop by. I might keep a little tally over the coming weeks like some sad train spotter.

Anyway off the top of my head for the past week .... machine and approx number of games

Baywatch 1
Creech 2

Pitiful :rolleyes: Weeks like this I wonder why I bother with this madness o_O:D

Great idea, and sadly I’ve barely played anything for weeks. Bought a RoadShow several months ago and hardly touched it. I want new blood, but can’t afford it, and I like to spend time cleaning up the older more affordable games when they arrive, but I know that I won’t be able to find my older favourites again in this condition, so I’m at a crossroads. Flog em all, keep a couple, do nothing, find a simpler hobby, carry on drinking….. In the wise words of channel 4’s 2001 marvel ‘Banzai’ - “vote now!”

I play every day I'm physically able to, usually broken up into 2 or 3 session. If I have a good game I'll usually only play 1 game in a session. Not sure on exact numbers for this week but started off the week playing JP, moved to Turtles when I got the insider kit and that tells me I played 14 games on that before moving back to JP today, I've had 4 games on that today, 3 decent ones and a turd lol. The more I play JP the more I love it and I'm not sure how anything will beat it for me.

If I go play on location I play as long as I can and then have a couple of days off after to recover.

I keep weekly records and try to play at least one game on each machine per week to see if any unreported faults.

Because of the nature of our business sat and Sun are by far the busiest days.

The worst week of the year is mother's day week. On mothers day we had NO customers until locals at 9pm

That week AFM had NO coins at all

We will probably shut mothers day next year for deep carpet cleaning

Brought my Mum twice now, she loves it! Mother's Day trip to Electric Circus? I think she'd like that lol

I don’t log weekly numbers because we play too much and I tend to play whenever I can physically, in coffee breaks/between phone calls.

I personally play 5-20 times daily, and my husband, my older son, my mum and the lady who looks after our kids also play.
 
I'm not sure number of games is necessarily the best indicator of the amount of use for each pinball, as it depends on the length of each game. Certainly for me, I can end up playing quite a few more games on a bad day, particularly if one of the machines "decides" to be particularly brutal.

On average I tend to play at least 1 hour a day, and quite often up to 2 hours.
Generally I will play pretty much every day (except Thursdays as that's Pinball Republic league night)!

Yesterday was around 2 hours, which translated into:

TNA - 8 games (longest was 3.8M, 6 reactors)
BKSoR - 7 games (longest was 490M)
 
Yup...ditto

RFM - 2
BK2K - 2

Refreshed my virtual pinball, so lots of games testing that. But that doesn't count.
