After just missing out on one of these on Ebay because i was too bloody tight to pay an extra £20 (Damn you "make an offer") and then others deciding they would pay the full asking price (which to be fair was already a good deal)...
So turning to the Forum collective who combined must have their fingers in multiple pies.... Wondered if anyone had a good source for the Ubiquity UDM-SE at all, or has one they dont use any more?

Home Wifi giving me grief, it's 5 years old and Mesh (and cheap!) so figured i would throw one of these in along with a couple of wifi6 LR AP's connected via POE and have done with it - It Hopefully should do me for the next couple of years or so and by then the Wifi 7 AP's will have dropped in price....

Needs to be the SE, or maybe the pro with a separate POE switch... however collectively these would probably come to more than the SE (and i like the idea of it being all in one and not having to deal with the power drain of a second unit)

Any good leads welcomed... Thanks!

Take a Cloudkey plus existing switch and one of their gateways. More flexible and works really well. Are you racking this?

Oops... had forgotten i put this here!

Ended up picking one up new... Along with a NOS U6-LR AP. So here's an interesting thing - I'm replacing a 3-node Mesh system in the house. New AP top of the stairs. Rack in the loft with a few things in it. Put this alongside, directly feeding the AP using POE+. Signal is stronger ALL over the house with just the one AP.
Also as my interweb (FTTP) can go directly into the UDM this means i have ripped out the dodgy Fritzbox along with the old Wifi network nodes.

I Have re-created those old wifi networks temporarilly on the AP before i create new separate Vlans and segment them all off... Separate Guest network with Web only access, Same with IoT, Internal network Is already created, and i think i will add a Camera interface too, which will be PoE directly into the box and using "protect" which is built in.

Protect is good with UI cameras, dodgy with others. I have an all UI system with eight APs here (don‘t ask).
