Found it! Wanted Guns N Roses LE

There is not a lot wrong with the speakers in GnR - the way they are configured makes them sound awful.

I would actually recommend replacing the amplifier.

Did this for a friend who was about to spend £100s and sorted out the issue for literally under £40.

Was going to shoot a video but you can not really tell on that.

In GnR the cross overs are rubbish (and non existant on the sub).

Been an audio engineer since the 90s so I do know my onions on this.

I fitted this unit:
With a 5amp power supply.
It is VERY LOUD.

Actually use these in jukeboxes now.

Oh, I might give this a go, @Pick Holder Is it easily done?

How are you finding it @s000m ?

Was too tired yesterday to try it out.

Not a great idea to drive, pack and transport. Then rush back, unpack and setup and then pack and prep JP for transport for its new owner lol.

I'll let you know today.

Has it got the nyloc nut and washer on those key posts on underside of PF?

I've taken out the post near pops as it gets hammered and was starting to cut into the clear, I've not noticed any difference in game play without it.

Other than that my playfield has been fine I don't even think about it now.

Hope you enjoy owning it 👍

We have similar taste it seems, I also have a GnR, BSD and CFTBL and would like a Shadow 🙂

I changed posts and did mods on probably 75% of the GnR UK games. I used a double washer stacked (small and larger one) and have been back to some with other issues and not had any post issues on the ones I changed.

Think i may also give this a go.

Did you make a new speaker out harness or use existing cab wires from the sound board. I was thinking of using some female connectors to plug straight into the existing connections that go to the sound board but interested in how you done it @Pick Holder ?

Thanks for the tip off tho much cheaper than Pinwoofer

Regards Paul

I suspect you did this one.

Playfield is unmarked.

So I had a few people call me and message me asking my thoughts on the game so far.

It's definitely the best light show out there nothing comes close.

For me it feels like playing guitar hero in pinball form.

The music, art, call outs and video assets are some of the best I've experienced.

The playfield artwork is also great and right up there with Zombie Yeti.

The playfield design is fast and brutal.
The central spinner shot is satisfying and IMO is the best shot in the game.

The upper playfield is well designed and better thought out than most games I've played with an upper playfield.
Hitting the right target on the left ramp nearly 80% of the time for me results in a drain which can infuriate.

If I had only just this pin on its own I don't think it's deep enough to stay, the constant use of multi balls is asking for a code update.

For a pin in a line up where I can play it when I just want to be entertained by the music light show and satisfaction of finishing a song it's great!
