Found it! Walking Dead

I always thought they were light actived rather than pressure activated as they are flush with the playfield, as opposed to the ones on World Cup Soccer that are more obviously a physical pressure switch.

They’re not flush with the playfield on TWD.
Star shaped plastics slightly protruding.

The changes in how the star roll overs is actually one of the few rule changes I disliked. It’s a piece of **** to hit the right hand lane with a skill shot. Even my fire button does it nine times out of ten.

In the original rule set you could select say the second roll over star as the biggest prize and then you’d be awarded lesser prizes depending on how much you missed it by. Far more fun than the “all or nothing” select a lane shot.

The other rule changes were master strokes however. Utterly saved the original game.

Having owned both the Pro and LE, I firmly believe the Pro is actually the best version of the game. Best artwork, best flow, the up down ramp is detrimental, the crossbow slows the game down, the spinner adds little to nothing, the Woodbury drop target is a hindrance.

Pro is a great game.. Not played a premium but loved my pro, kicked my ass so many times but still kept coming back to it.. You can have lots of bad games and then one amazing game, cleland code is essential

Seems a lot of people like the Cleland code but I'm sure I tried it and reverted back to the original for its cheesiness. I'll have to give it another go if I manage to get one.

I've got a verbal agreement with a fellow member to buy his Pro, just waiting on Martin to get back to us so all being well the deal gets done.

I quite like idea of having some games where all I do is shoot zombies to head towards Last Man Standing, not that I think I'll ever get there but seeing how many I can kill might make it a little like TNA.

I was quite green when I had an LE, it was my first Pin and I'm pretty sure I didn't pay any attention to the rules, I just shot it for fun so hopefully this will feel like a new experience, especially with it being a Pro.

Pro just as fun, it's a game I quite enjoy although it's rather hard, you do have to learn to nudge the machine, without doing that it a bit of a drainer, which I think probably a design choice. Absolutely hate the 1000 shades of brown though.

Thanks, I've managed to source a Walking Dead, just waiting on delivery.

Back to where it all began (almost). My first Pin 8 1/2 years ago was a Walking Dead LE, now I've got this Pro.

Massive thanks to @carl lawrence , he was a pleasure to deal with all the way and patient whilst we waited for Martin, who's brother collected Monday and dropped it off yesterday. It was exceptionally well wrapped up for delivery.

It's a great condition HUO, low play example and I'm the 2nd owner. Comes with some nice mods including invisi-glass, shaker, Flipper Fidelity speakers including colour changing lights, Dread's tower mod and of course the topper.

I've added @Silverpaolo mirror blades today and I've got a fish tank to install. Thought about a Colour DMD but I quite like the red.

Also another win for the Pinball trolley/lift, Pin-Skates and Col Jack©, I couldn't have done it without you.

looks lush mate congrats

Forgot that these support 'prongs' used to be a thing. One of Stern's most stupid decisions. You either have to lift the playfield up all the way, or not at all. Quite awkward when trying to get the playfield back in place.

Have the angle of the playfield low and slide with a big push at the end ,it’s not pretty but works . As for working on the machine like flippers 😉 a piece of 2”x1” wood in the cabinet to the under side of the apron works a treat . You can swap out the threaded bar things and fit the rails apparently .

I've never liked doing that big push technique, I always lift the back of the playfield up a little just to get it over that ridge.

I'm not planning on being under there often so it's not a big deal.

I totally agree about the push technique but when it is wedge between machines it has to be done unfortunately , when they used to had have rails I use to push the apron down with my elbow and it lifted the back up , them where the days !
