I have a very nice AC/DC pro that i am looking to move on and replace with something new........well new to me that is !
At the moment i don`t want a straight sale until i have something else lined up top play so if you are interested and have something you are willing to p/ex let me know what you have. I will consider anything from the late 80`s up to recent machines. Message me, email at fireinside@sky.com or ring/text me on 07773 760555, whatever suits.
OK a brief rundown of the machine. Cabinet and backbox look really really nice with only minor wrinkling of decals around legs. Playfield also excellent and has recently been given a good clean and polish. Other work done includes a recent cannon motor renewed, new rubbers fitted, led`s that were fitted were all stripped out and replaced with brighter versions and a selection original lamps. Now you can see the colour of the plastics ! New blue flipper rubbers and a couple of custom insert cards have been put on. Cabinet flipper buttons were renewed as were the leg bolts ,balls, leg levellers and the chrome t-moulding strip at the top of the cabinet. New lightning bolts from Marco Specialities (with metal reinforced backs)have been fitted to the ramps. One other very annoying problem you get on many Sterns which is the auto launch failing to put the ball in to play properly has been sorted.
The machine plays nice and fast and as it should. One minor grumble is the extra line on the left side of the display which i`m afraid is all too common on pinballs of this era.
There is a small goody bag containing several promo plastics , bulbs, a fuse !, and stand up target decal replacements. Original manual is included as is the Allen key to turn the backbox latch.
If it helps i don`t mind loading the machine in to my car and meeting you somewhere to do a swap or trade as long as it`s within a two or three hour drive from East Kilbride ,Glasgow.
Thanks,
John.
