So true I'm in the area that had the red storm warning I've produced stronger wind
Well it was an odd morning for me. Loads of calls from people to find out if I was the person who died in Watford before then waiting for more information about the people who died in Hounslow as I recognised the street from the TV. No noticeable damage where I live though.
After the '87 storms, any weather man is going to not ignore the possible dangers. Plus the news teams like to give us an apocalypse every so often.
