For this i used a DEll 19"LCD and a Raspberry Pi, to be honest if you put these together for a fairly non technical person the pi and lcd tends to be far less support :) i have one personally which is PC based running Hyperspin frontend, strangely i prefer the pi interface as its less fussy and i dont tend play the newer games. i bought this case the other day which allows you to pop in a pi zero which is pretty cool

Haven't seen that Gameboy case before, looks cool - I may have to pick one of those up.....

How much was that from chillis?
In 2016 "It was £675 including custom artwork, £575 with plain carbon wrap." Chris will build it to your specification and he is very easy to deal with.

I know a few on here don't like emulation but I think these are great for the casual gamer like me. I've been playing mine a lot recently.

Been looking into getting something like this.. not particularly fussed about it being emulation. What's the current thinking on best quality cabinets etc?

I really want a cab, but no one, and i've looked, does anything like the attached link https://www.recroommasters.com/Xtension-32-Vertical-Arcade-Machine-p/rm-xt-32-up-vert.htm or a pedestal version so that the monitor can be moved round from vertical to horizontal. These boys don't ship to the UK, unless i want to muck about finding someone to buy and ship from a US address at a cost that is somewhat silly. Anyone know if such a thing exists? i've got all the software ready to go....all i need is the perfect cab. This is the perfect cab for me https://www.recroommasters.com/Xtension-Vertical-Arcade-Machine-p/rm-xt-vert.htm i know the answer, go deal with the VAC bunch?

The ones linked to are not overly complex in terms of shape, you could DIY it or get someone to build it for you?|
You could get exactly what you want that route.
