Quite a few comps coming up at PBR so wanted to build some awareness as we move into the last couple months of the year.

Sat Nov 15th - Remember remember not quite the 5th of November

Group Matchplay with A-D finals. The new Star Wars game is said to be coming!

Monster Meet Weekend:

(Got preliminary details from speaking to Matt yesterday)

Usually quite a big crowd for these two large events and a lot of fun - come down and make a weekend of it!

Dec 6th - 10/10 Group matchplay (10 rounds with one classic and one main) Finals format tbd - 200% TGP approx

Dec 7th - Classics comp - again should be 200% approx

(Note - these are standalone 1 day tournaments - 2 separate chances and helpful if you can only attend one day.)

Turkey leftovers Fry Up:

Dec 27th - 28th - One Big 250% comp spanning over two days to end the pinball year in style, with PAPA style finals.

As ever, everyone welcome regardless of ability for great pinball action at PBR. Please do DM me if any questions on the above - or let me/us know if planning to come!
 
Annoyingly, family commitment for the 15th.....Which is a shame as the alst few tournaments there have been EXCELLENT. Well, Excellent FUN, my performance seems to be getting worse...
 
I'm planning to attend the Monster Meet, is pre registration required or is it a just turn up on the day kind of thing ?

Great to hear, you can always turn up on the day but I will also ask @Matt Vince if we can get a couple of matchplay links setup so people can sign up in advance. It is always good to build a prospective player list(!)

Turkey will now be a one-day 200% tournament on the 28th, possibility the club may be open on the 27th but subject to any volunteers being available.

Doors open 10am for a 10:15 start, finish around 7pm

Ah I may be able to make that now then, it was the early start on 27th that was putting me off after boxing day celebrations 🍻🙂.

I have read the “2x matchplay” to mean it’ll be the usual format of 10 rounds x 2 games per round, or close to that

It would be a struggle to fit 6 x 4 and finals into one day
