Another stupid question , but can any one tell me where the ring termal should go on my black rose (see picture ) - im still getting EOS switch faults on test start up , not sure that hasnt anything to do with this

Between the wiring support and a lamp holder, I see a solder tag, used to join wires. It isn't necessarily meant for connecting wires to anything else, though - I can't think of anything around there which it could relate to

Yes, I think so. Are those the orange return wires for the EoS switches?

I’ll look tonight and confirm. - it blew the emi on the main switch last week so I can’t power it up at the moment !

yes i continuity checked the orange wire back to the 906 connector right through to the last EOS switch - still shows error report on start up ?
