Seeing as there will be a few of us not attending the speech and dinner on Saturday, I was thinking maybe we provisionally book a Chinese or Indian?

What does everyone think?

The Chinese restaurant is pretty pricey, there's also a Chinese take away with a sit down area but the service was painfully slow last year and you can't book it way in advance.

There's also a pub that does a nice meal near the Tesco express

The pub is a good shout but gets busy on a Saturday night and you can't book.
Might be a idea to see what's close by and vote on that.
I'll go with the majority.

Curry for me, but in my experience you can't keep the northerners away from a Chinese , they even have mr Whippy machines in Their restaurants up north, very odd

Can't beat a Mr Whippy's after a chinese.

Reminds me that last time I was in our local chinese restaurant I said to the waitress is that guy over there Foo King the chef and she said no he is Wan King the waiter
