Hello Folks
I am new to all this and having just got myself a 1974 segasa triple action EM machine I have been reading and digesting the excellent pinball repair guide.( pinrepair.com).
It is great but when it comes to the cleaners and lubricants section I am hoping there are supplies of some of the items available from my local supermarket or Halfords in the UK.
So my questions are as follows:
1.Do halfords sell an equivalent lubricant to teflon superlube gel? A search reveals some bicycle lubes might be suitable but I need to be sure?
2.spray brake parts cleaner perhaps this will do?
http://www.halfords.com/cycling/bik...-dirtwash-bike-disc-brake-cleaner-spray-250ml
3.What is Mean green cleaner is this something like "Cif" or "Mr Muscle" or flash floor cleaner?
4.Is there a UK equivalent of Mr Clean magic eraser?
Lastly Johnson's pastewax or trewax Carnauba. Are either of these available in UK shops I know again that some car waxes contain carnauba and I have even made my own furniture wax that had some melted into it.Is there an easy to find UK car or furniture polish that is the equivalent?
Many Thanks
Alick.

Good question! The magic erasers are readily available on eBay or the Flash brand (which I've found superior) in supermarkets. Go easy with them they're powerful.

Hi astyy
Thank you for your reply.I have found some of the stuff on ebay and amazon but it is often coming from the US with a large postage and packing fee so I am hoping to get uk equivalents wherever possible :)

Search eBay for melamine foam/magic sponge something like this
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Magic-Cle...emover-Clean-Multi-Foam-Cleaner-/311383232539
The Flash branded ones always seem to be offer in my Tesco and I've found them much better wearing than the generic eBay ones.

Also you must use these with IPA not water on playfields, like this
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/IPA-100-1...ropyl-Alcohol-Isopropanol-99-1L-/141522873981

You only realy need this for grimed in dirt/swirls else you can use the Novus products, read this intro thread that Paul wrote
