For some reason the knocker isn't firing in game but is in test it might of been like it since I put in the latest home rom. Where in the menu can I turn it on as I cant seem to find it? cheers

Not on my TZ, got quite a good one on my TAF though, I was thinking I may be better with two!
TZ may have no knocker but lots of balls and a false one!
And they get gummed!.....I think i'll go now, far to much excitement for one night.
Aidy you are starting to scare me.
I scare me sometimes too. Now do I play TZ or my wife, TZ I think, it will beat me less!
Am starting to think inviting Aide round this weekend was a bad idea 
If it's just you two then yes I would be worried.

What makes the knocker strike in the game ? Is it just a replay, match, high scores and special ?
Might your new rom have different settings for these compared to the one you are used to ? What happens if you put it to coin operated (as opposed to free play), does the fault still persist ?
With your old rom in, does it still work as you think it should ?

What ROM have you got. Knocker definately knocks with the latest ROM 9.4H on my machine
I had to alter the CPU boards region dip switches to enable the knocker.
9.4CH here too. Went to USA I think.
Might mean cutting through some zero ohm resistors.

I do not get the knocker on an extra ball, but I would not expect it to
I do get the knocker on the replay. I don't want to bugger up my high scores by taking off the glass and faking a high score to test it. And Sorry, but I don't know how to get the special light on to test it . I will do if someone lets me know how

I think the camera award also awards a light outlanes which switches (sling activated) between extra ball on the left and special on the right.
