OK, had enough of pinball for the moment, so thinning collection down to just 2 machines (maybe one if they p**s me off anymore). Therefore offering up some machines to go. No time. No inclination or desire. And I'm offering machines for exactly what I paid for them (from members here). They are sold as is. I have briefly checked them over and give an honest appraisal here. I know people are always on the hunt for project machines so here's two for starters.
NO FEAR: Needs basic shopping so a nice little project, a nice-looking No Fear. Generally tidy, usual cab fade, but playfield looks complete, no wear I can see. May need new DMD but have not checked anything to see if it's a power issue. Boards complete. Powers up, boings and goes to attract mode. Noticed ball kicker is constantly trying to kick out, so maybe closed switch. Don't know. I think I have a brand new rubber kit somewhere. I'll need to check. Looking for EXACTLY what I paid for it which was £1100.
POLICE FORCE: Second up is a Police Force project machine. Needs a bit more work but is all there. Playfield is STRIPPED, and generally looks pretty good. Usual decal lift in places but to be honest, when lit you don't see it. I bought a new sling plastic to replace a broken one, but there are a couple of others that will need replacing. Ramp entries are broken but could be salvaged with a bit of TLC. NEW decals on blue lights on top of backbox. Powers up now I have fitted a new X-PIN board, displays eventually come on. Could need replacing, don't know. Looking for £850 with X-Pin board which I am taking a hit on. I think I have a brand new rubber kit somewhere. I'll need to check. A nice project for someone and will look nice once done.
