Twilight Zone Outhole Issue

Hi

I have a Twilight Zone. After the ball drains, the machine does not recognise that the ball has drained and it gets stuck in the Outhole as pictured until the machine searches for the ball and eventually puts it into touch.

As you can see in the video where I'm running the test for the Outhole, the mechanism itself doesn't return to its base position (I assume it should move more than it does?).

Any help would be appreciated.

I'd say the trough kicker mechanism needs a clean.

When was the last time it was serviced and cleaned? You'll want to do the playfield every couple of hundred games or so and keep the mechs cleaned and serviced as they show signs of under performance.

Short answer is that I have no idea when it was last cleaned or serviced. It was purchased on here in March 2020 and has been sat idle inside a friends house since as we didn't have room for it at the time. They didn't play it at all, so it's had very few plays in the last few years.

Sounds like I need to start getting a bit hands on with our machines. It's something I would like to do but I have little experience.
