Sold TWD Pro - £4500

Hi all,

Thinking I might move this on to get my hands on something that has come up. I have been honest on what it owes me, what I need for my next game and how I get there, so this is what I think is a fair evaluation.

Comes with:

- LCD Colour DMD
- LCD Colour DMD Gasket (You have to buy these separately)
- Shaker Motor
- Spare Plastics (Factory)
- Manual etc
- Coin Box
- Bicycle Girl Figure
- Colour LEDS on P-R-I-S-O-N and W-E-L-L
- Cols plastic protectors
- Brand new flipper rebuild with parts from Phil (will do before game goes, parr’s are here)
- LED Flourescent Tube in Backbox
- Railway Flashing Light Mod (Not fitted)
- All new balls (12/8/2020)
- Thumb Lock and All Keys Present

It has had the front drilled for a lockbar, the story was it was sited for 3 weeks, made no money and went into the blokes home. I am the second owner. Beyond that, which I can put clips in and its on the black artwork anyway. it is perfect.

Given they seem to go for £4.5k standard, with the mods etc. flipper rebuild - £4850 as is. Pics to follow, but this has been my pride and joy for nearly two years. I will be very, very sad to see it go.

£4,500 - standard red DMD, no shaker.
£4,850 - LCD CDMD, shaker.

It has truly been a love of mine, Katie and I have discussed letting it go, it is going to be a real wrench, and with the rarity of them in the UK the chance to get another being diminished. The bigger concern being the slight possibility of some distopian future where @Neil McRae owns all them in the UK. However, needs must.

I have my name in on an LE - but not at this point. I’ve got a BM66 I have an agreement on. So this needs to go to fund it. My boy is mad into watching “mummy” or “daddy” play pinball and has a little stool he stands on now in front of us. There comes a point where the swearing and general theme isn’t age appropriate I think

My streaming rig is a HD cam on the playfield via a capture card, two Logitech c920’s and a yeti nano microphone. Runs via OBS on an i7-7700 (I think) with 16GB RAM. Moving the rig is a right ass because of the way I’ve made the over rig, but I’ve just had the floor redone in the pinshed. I’ve got a list of “nice to sort” things, and making a proper rig I can move between games easier means I’d probably stream more...

Why is this still for sale ? One of the finest games ever made. Tastefully modded and in superb condition.

Thanks @stoptap - it has been incredibly well looked after whilst in my care, as I say the little bits that make the difference like a jolly good waxing around the pops, keeping plastics clean and bright, etc.

TWD is an incredible game and as I said above - I don’t think it’s worth less than that as a seller. If something like Deadpool had to go instead I would be just as okay with that going, but even for me, it hasn’t really been here long enough.

Im one of the few dissenters. TWD is down there with TZ and TOM i'm afraid for me.

However, we cant all like the same thing. i mean.. some like popeye and Gilligans island FFS..

Also, just to confirm - the bicycle girl ramp is not cracked, nor is the usually broken plastic behind the well walker.

Agreed @Neil McRae - thanks for the push, going to reduce this against every fibre in my body.

So whilst the market is mad, I will let this go standard at £4,500. No shaker option, either I take it all out and its £4,500 or £4,850 with CDMD (LCD one mind) and shaker.
