Hi guys,
On my TSPP I had a problem where balls locked in the couch did not stay there, and rolled straight through and out the other side.
On investigation, I found the problem was caused by the couch weldment bending back so the plunger was going too far back and getting stuck.
After looking online, this appears to be a common problem - that the weldment bends back at the right angle, and if you bend it back, soon afterwards it bends again.
I could get a new weldment for £35, however it looks like the same thing could eventually happen to the new weldment. Online thought I have found the following:
http://www.foramusementonly.to/images/couchfix.jpg
This is not the whole weldment, but an extra bit on its own that sits behind the right angle that bends and attaches using the existing screw hole.
Does anyone know a UK source for this part? It seems a waste to replace the whole thing when a small fix would be perfect, and prevent it happening in future.
I have seen where people have just put a screw in the playfield, but that would look messy.
Thanks in advance,
Mark
