Looking for a triac 2322B which is now probably obsolete as i cant find any reference,but does anyone know if there's an equivalent please.

The guy who wants one tells me "it fits on a small square board in the upright box on my strange science" Looking at a data sheet for T2322B triacs it gives it as 200v 2.5A.Would any triac with this value work?
good substitute that i've successfully used in the past is BT136-600 - TRIAC, 4A 600V TO220AB
slightly better spec, same gate sensitivity, pin for pin compatible and cheap as chips!
