Some of you may well have seen the profile cards @Matt Vince has posted on Facebook. I won't post any of the pics on here myself, but maybe people like @Neil McRae , @PipelineTom , @bartron , @Nickoss II, @mufcmufc and others may want to post their own?
It was also suggested in the thread that they could be made into a bespoke Top Trump pack.
I've looked into the details and have created a set of categories and filled in the details for 50 plus players already, the figures entered are based on IFPA website data, but not necessarily the usual figures - so just because you're the no.1 player in the UK doesn't make your card unbeatable. So there's no excuse not to get involved just because you think you'll be embarrassed.
To make this viable it needs 30 people to be willing to have a card made for them to go in the deck of 30, and ideally for them to purchase a pack. Other packs will also be available for people who don't feature in the deck as well.
The price of a deck will be £15. This is more than the cost to make them so that ALL of the profit will can go towards the Shine Charity Matt supports (basically as that's where the idea came from).
To get involved all you will need to do is provide me with
a photo of you that will appear on the card,
your real name (as appears on the IFPA website), and what name you want to appear on the card - if it differs
and a pledge of £15 (I'll figure out how I'm going to collect the money later)
Once I get to 30 people, I'll go ahead and get the cards made.
So get thinking of your nickname and what photo you want to use - all for a great cause
