Wanted Thunderbirds

that doesn't illustrate my frustration with what a miss of a theme I love. Thunderbirds deserved better, much much much better.

The other reason for adding it - is when @The seeker buys it for what ever it costs, then comes to sell it and perhaps finds it hard to move on.

Regards,
Neil.
I look forward to playing your first production machine, I'm sure it will be fantastic!

I can probably even help you with an extension to my Thunderbirds licence if that helps a little.

Oh that's right - you don't want to build anything, just tear it down if it doesn't fit in your little box of 'perfect'.

im a massive Gerry Anderson fan so was really looking forward to Thunderbirds and we had it from day one out the box in the arcade. the only commercial machine on site in the UK

as popular with casual players as any other game but the hard core wouldn't touch it. The theme intergration wasn't there for me - the rules made no sense. the music was random and an Anderson pin is going to be judged on the Barry Gray music. The 90s fruit machines get it right. Thunderbirds march when you are on a trail , the fireflash theme when an element of danger - high low gamble etc

extend the ramp to feed the right inlane and re jig the rules and it would be a much better game to play

machine was well built and never went wrong in 2 years. was easy to put on UK coins (unlike JJP!!!) bright colourful and approachable for casual players. Sold very easily at same price we paid to a family who had played the machine here and liked it.

if you put machine is a seasonal arcade with new visitors everyday it would do just as well as a far more expensive US game.

if you enjoyed it - go for it. problem is the cheap ones have now gone - with less than 10 in the UK they may not come up for sale.

wont rule out Spinal Tap - look forward to playing it

Mike I must say since your on the thread I took a good look at thunderbirds when I played it and it did have a good solid feel to it , yes the Center ramp took afew shots away but the quality of the art and colours used was excellent. As was from what I remember the overall look and feel of the game. Like you said who of us can actually make a game …. Hummm not me. Well done for doing it and look forward to spinal tap.

the quality of the art?!!?!

Now I know ITV approved it but the artwork is not thunderbirds.

You know something has gone wrong when we're arguing about thunderbirds art aesthetic or adherence to original Kaiju look n feel.

You do remeber Striker Xtreme right Neil?

Creative directors are expensive and for a first pin probably not commercially viable.

Neil I know we all have opinions but there is nothing wrong with that art package , it’s just like any Chris franchie kapow

Good old 'COIN-OP KING' owns one. Speak to Jamie Bird.

I sold a couple of the remaining ones at Pinball Heaven (as they cost a fortune to import/store and a lot of money was lost).

BTW - for once I 100% agree with @Neil McRae - this game is awful. Disjointed sound, artwork is return of the egg heads..... For the first 10 plays I thought 'it's not that bad'. Then reality hit.
