Has anyone got a spare of these? Either the original plastic or metal version?

We have the metal one but the hole where the set screw goes seems to have stripped and no screw I try will tighten enough to hold it in place.

Got folks over at the weekend so I'm hoping someone has one rather than have to order from Europe.

If you have any kind of cable - strip off the plastic sleeve and stick that in the hole and it'll tighten up

You could tap that thread out to a slightly larger size easily enough.

You'd also need a new metric screw to match the size of the thread you make.

This is a machine screw not a self tapper so the plastic trick won't work. Re-tap is the best way, dead easy just check youtube for best practices

It's fixed!
I posted on our local Facebook group a couple days ago and this evening a top man came over, drilled a new hole and tapped it with a new grub screw.

Then played a few games of Pinball

We needed a new hole because in my attempts of fixing I sheared off a screw in the hole which was stuck good and proper.
