Hi all,
Up for grabs is my sister’s TOM, just to let you all know I ran it past @Paul first as technically it’s not my machine, but I know more about it than the owner as myself and my brother have helped maintain it through the years of ownership.
It’s in very nice condition for the age, originally purchased from Sean at Pinball Displays down in Margate (back in the days he sold pins as well) who had shopped it out with new rubbers, cleaned it, installed LEDs for the playfield mixed with incandescent for the back glass. It also has a colour LCD DMD fitted.
It has original screen printed graphics on the cabinet which seem to be in very good condition.
The trunk is in good condition and not damaged. Not much wear on the playfield I can see or any broken plastics that I know of. I can get more photos if requested.
@Sam C owned this game for bit before my sister missed it so much she bought it back off him
. He installed side art blades and my sister bought the 5v chip for it to stop it resetting. It has had very light home use since purchasing it from Sean and is very reliable.
The only issues that have been dealt with have been the Outlane optos (magic ball save) which need slight adjustment with a precision screwdriver from time to time.
I played it a few weeks back and managed to reach the Grand Finale with a score of 2 billion. The only issue I came across was making the left orbit ramp shot. The plastic protector above the ramp needs adjusting as it stops the ball sometimes. I didn’t do it at the time as I was a bit intoxicated and didn’t want to make it worse lol.
I asked her to take lots of photos of in and around the machine and showed her another example advert of pics people want to see. I think she has missed the shooter lane pic. I can ask her to do that if needed. No credit dot which is good thing too
.
Her main reason for selling is that she is moving back to Australia next month. Her husband is staying on for a bit longer to sort things out this end so no urgency to move machine. I have also warned her that she will probably never get to own one again as she will struggle to find one in Australia at a decent price. Pins over there have always been more expensive than here.
The machine is located in Plaistow East London, sadly up 2 flights of stairs. My brother in law and myself can help if needed. Martin has even been there and taken it up the stairs.
Sticking an asking price of £6k or nearest offer and see how it goes from there.
Price drop £5.5k
