The "Today I received" Thread

I've only had a couple of games on it but it's up there with GZ as one of the most stacked and best playing Sterns imo.

50 Cal Ammo Tins - Not really Pinball related, but could be used for storing Pinball parts and tools.

They were a bit of an impulse buy, at £9.99 each I bought a couple as I am partial to a bit of genuine military hardware.

These are the real deal. Genuine military-issued ammo tins – no replicas, no cheap knock-offs. Built for the field, not for show.

Tough Steel Construction – designed to take a beating and keep going.

Snap Shut Latch – solid and secure, just like it should be.

Rubber-Sealed Hinged Lid – keeps contents dry and protected from the elements.

Heavy-Duty Carry Handle – grab it and go.

Stackable – great for tight storage setups in the garage, van, or workshop.

Military Green Finish – authentic, no-nonsense look.

External Dimensions: Approx. 29 cm x 14.5 cm x 18 cm (11.4" x 5.7" x 6.5").

Fresh from military storage, these tins are unused but may show minor signs of handling from transit or warehousing. Ideal for tools, ammo, kit, or whatever else you need to keep safe and dry.

Just landed ! Been after one for a while and this one is lovely! Thank you @kezDaz11 😀 (and good luck with your TAF hunt)
Also realised, if I swapped DI out for a GB or Scooby, I’d have a line up that represents 80% of the TV and music from my formative years. The power of nostalgia

Technically not received today, just over 2 weeks ago now. I massively underestimated this game and almost sold my spot while I was waiting for it, glad I didn't now. Fitted the expression lights today and still need to fit the plastic protectors from Col but been too busy playing!

Enjoy @johnh looks great in your line up 🤩
You need the Lego Wonka to go with it 😉

Had a few games on the Pro and Premium. Initial impressions, would have a Premium but not a Pro.
I'd like my previous comment stricken from the record! I'm going to tart it up a bit, got side art, Col's Plastics™, glow rubbers, instruction cards and speakers to upgrade.

I've got a spare shaker but read this on Pinside:

"OK listen up, I bought a GB Premium, and it didn't come with a shaker motor! SO, I finally bought one and hooked up! You would think this is a plug and play, but NO! After hooking it up and power on, no1 board blew! What??

So after a lot of investigation, Stern says, the no.1 board can't take it if it was not bought on the pin originally! You have have it take it to Stern and have it flashed to work right! AND, there are no no.1 boards available any where!! Just for your FYI!!"

Has anyone else put a shaker in a Pro?

Took a long drive over to Norwich yesterday to pick up this beauty! I've been after another woodrail for a while, really wanted a Gottlieb one and it's worked out perfectly where I've bagged what many consider to be one of the best playing woodrails ever made :D Huge thanks to @ADY2702 for selling me the game and also for the work he's done to get it to this standard. For a game that came out in 1953 it's in amazing condition

Had some pinball themed banner/flag thingies made up to stick to the celling, surprisingly good print quality for the princely sum of 4 quid each

New Pinball LED Neon effect sign just arrived from Amazon, for the game room.

Great for the games room, really really bright but you can dim the light really low. Cheap also at under 20 quid.

@RetroHeed Thanks for posting this, looks fantastic and a bargain at <£20! An early Xmas present to myself 🎅. The look of neon without the hassle of neon (I don't want to get into a real vs fake neon debate 😄)

You weren't wrong about how bright it was on maximum brightness! 😎. If those ladies don't turn up by the weekend I'm sending it back for a refund!

My only small gripe is it doesn't power on when you plug it in so can't use it with a timer.
