Again I say what a great place this forum is.
Today I received a small package from @pinballmania with some nice spares for my RFM
Extension posts, new spotlights and some spare bulb holders. I'd like to thank Andy for being patient while I have explained in long rambling emails which bits I mean by rough placement on the playing field
Having already received replacement rubbers, cleaning kit, many spare switches I am building up to fixing some things.
Hope to report soon that I have received a soldering iron to make good with many of these bits but despite its necessity it just seems so dull to buy

Cool machine. Getaway was my first, lots of machines have come and gone since but I still have my Getaway.

I'm really pleased to have helped someone out. Good luck mate. You can't beat that new playfield feeling.
Its a clear coat test area, they scratch that area every so many playfield that are made to check the clear coat is still good etc

Picked up a couple of new games recently First off is a DE Star Wars that I got a few weeks ago and is fitted with Pinsound so rocks the proper Star Wars music (I've also upgraded the speakers to take full advantage of it). Big thanks to @Will for hooking me up and @Matt Adams for driving it up to Notts
Today I took a trip to deepest darkest Stoke on Trent to pick up a Space Station
I've been after one of these for years so really happy to grab it. Definitely a project game so I'll be on the hunt for parts very soon. If anyone has a good condition System 11 lockdown bar and/or a spare blue upper playfield for SS then please give me a shout

How's yr ramp? A guy on Pinside recently repro 'd them... In different colours too :-D.... They might still be around if you need one.
Yeah I was expecting this to be a tricky one to get hold of. Thankfully the damage doesn't affect gameplay and I may be able to repair it with some steel

Re. Williams "lockdown bars", I shouldn't think that the metal front moulding changed much through the years (other than width, for their late 70's w I d e b o d i e d games). I don't recall much difference between those for FirePower and F-14. Even a Zaccaria e/m item might be suitable.
