Don’t take it seriously, see it as a spoof that is so close, it can appear to be the thing it spoofs but it isn’t.

We can all agree Never ending Story shouldn't be made into a pin because it'll be far too sad if your ball gets stuck
It's well worth a watch if you haven't seen it, absolute cult classic.
