About to offer up my Bally Flash Gordon as the clear out continues. What do we think this one would be valued at? Its been kept up together but has NOT recently been refurbished or restored.
At sometime in the past the cabinet has been restenciled, so colours are strong. There are multiple minor scuffs and scrapes to the cabinet. See pics.
Electronically, its been fitted with Alltek CPU, MyPinballs Sound PCB, and Low Voltage LED displays. Lots of new flipper parts installed in recent years. The strobe is MISSING.
Playfield is as good as you could hope for for this age of machine. Very little playfield wear, see pics. Rubbers are ok, but grubby.
Backglass is in excellent order. Black legs could do with a respray.
A new playfield is about £1000 if you can find one. But you then need the expertise and time to do a full playfield swap. Even then you're probably looking at £7.5-8k, so your probably breaking even.
A pinball forum probably isn't the best place to ask for advice on to how to be able to list your game for the maximum price possible tbh
Adding to the queue of WIW requests.... (after Andy's Flash and Jonathans Creech).. what's a OG Monsterbash worth these days? Thinking of switching some games around, had this for many many years, it's halfway between ok and a players (playfield pretty good, less drac wear than most, but has wear on the wolf insert from a previously dragging flipper, usual cab knocks but not too bad, wrinkling around the legs. Playfield clean, rerubbered in the last 12 months, fully working)

Haha I was well off. Don’t have these problems at the bottom of the pond
Just to add (in my defence) we are headed back in the direction of pre covid prices. I think a restored original MB could be in the £7k range. New playfield, Redecaled, colour dmd etc..
Here’s an advert from the beginning of Covid. Nice original
Thinking of moving on my William monster bash looking for trade ideally but may consider cash offer. A few I am after are WOZ, Hobbit, JP, GB PREM/LE, TAF and others not worth mentioning [emoji23]. As Too many people after dp and maiden at the mo. Let me know if you have anything and can sort more photos etc.
MB has colordmd LED which would stay for the right trade, cpr mirrored backglass, chrome side rails and back channel. Full premium LED’s, Full titans. New creech plastic, new cliffy, mirror blades, cols plastics. Couple of touch ups but nothing major at all. Mainly around the scoop and...
I think FG is worth more than £2k, especially with a good condition playfield. I remember a couple going on here in the £4-5k range but who knows in current market

Thats a restored value. New playfield etc..
This one is missing the strobe too
Paid £1500 for mine just pre Covid, so I think £2k is about right.
I guess stick it up high and work backwards. It’ll find its value. It’s just my opinion based on my past purchases.
I have been accused of living in the past on occasion.

I know of 2 original (both HUO) that have sold for at least 10k in the last year and a nice original that was similar. Originals demand more than remakes no matter the condition.
I always seem to be shooting low with valuations. Maybe I’m living in the past or just optimistic!!
I’ll put a number out there at £4k given the current market
I've agreed slightly more than that, but it's in good nick. Cab sanded down and new decals applied, new backbox, chromed rails, new chrome hinges, all coils replaced, new hologram, LED'd, colorDMD, new translite etc.
I paid £4500 for a big standard one a couple of years ago
Imho you are certainly in the right area at somewhere over £4k. I recall a project crrech went for around £3k earlier this year and you would certainly spend over £1k in parts alone to get a project to where this one is and probably 60 to 80 hours work. To me nice games that have been completely gone through are the real bargains out there unless you really like the process of refurbishing a project machine. There's nothing better than getting a game that looks great and works well from the moment you get it.

Agreed. I bought a nice players Fish Tales on here last year. Then realised it was going to cost me much more to redecal and swap the playfield than it would to just buy the one that popped up on here with all that work already done.
I feel similar about this Creech tbh. I've been offered a couple at £4000+ over the last year. Neither was as nice as this one and it would cost me well over £1000 more to chrome the metalwork, redecal it and add a colorDMD.
There's always a bit of a discrepancy on here between what people value games at, and what they actually sell for (unless there's a hidden market where everyone sells games 30% cheaper than they list them for on the forum). Phil is selling a fully restored Creech and Whitewater for £15k each currently!
I did have this for sale before but decided to keep it, I have now found another pin and due to space this must now go. Here are the last 2 threads from the last 2 owners, they have a more detailed description:

That may have been unusually low though, I sold a plain vanilla one (with lovely playfield and cabinet) for 4K in the last few months, and I had several interested buyers. People like the game (I don’t as it’s too hard for me). I’d be surprised if you can find one for 3850 if the PF/cab are both nice.
