The "How much is this table worth" thread....

It’s hate/hate machine and Dave. [emoji28]

Good news is that because it’s so bad they are pretty cheap, but I’d really encourage you to play it before buying it.

Thanks very much Neil, after going through the forum almost everytime Munsters is mentioned someone throws your name into the mix, couldn’t work out if you were a die hard fan or not 😂 now I know!

All the advice given has definitely been taken under advisement so will have to make sure I’m 100% before pulling the trigger on any purchase.

I have a munsters Pro ( not for sale) and have never noticed it dark in the center of the playfield, and I play in a fairly dark room. Streams/photos don't always reflect how they look irl.

@SimonB They have the premium at electric circus which should be reopening soon. I actually quite like the game I’ve played the pro and the premium if you’re a munsters fan has some cool toys and videos.
Thanks for the tip! Just had a look online great line up of pins, unfortunately a bit far for me at the mo though

Yep has some great pins. To be fair was a bit of a drive for me roughly 2 and half hours but I went round a few pinball spots last year just to get a feel for what pins I wanted to own. Tilt at Birmingham and both Arcade Clubs are good spots too.

Hello peeps, a friend has enquired about buying my sega star wars pin. Not sure if I'm going to sell or not. It's in used condition but works fine. Can anyone give me rough idea about value please?

The photos are old but condition of machine hasn't changed since they were taken - if you'd prefer newer pictures please let me know.
Thanks in advance for your time.

Johnny

Hey Johnny if it’s a friend sale maybe what you paid for it, however you’d be peeved if he then sold it on for more. Segas don’t usually demand a high price, but Star Wars does add a premium as there’s a bigger market for fans. If you’ve never maintained it, cleaned playfield and ramps new rubbers , bulbs and the like I’d say minimum of 1800 going up to 2400 if clean and fully working. It could sell on eBay for up to 3500 if there’s a couple of star wars fans that really , really want it.....

Thank you Jagspete, Neil McRae and Slimetime - Yep, deffo don't want to rip anyone off, just dont want to rip myself off by picking a silly low number if I do decide to sell it is all. I knew this forum would not bulls*** me, which is why I asked, I do appreciate the advice.

I'll take some new and better lit photos and upload them when I can - likely tomorrow night.

Here's some fresh pictures with and without the playfield glass on as wasn't sure what the convention is. I've got curtains open and main light on for most of the pictures. I'd forgotten to mention that the scoop on the right hand side of the table is currently taped together temporarily with green tape. This needs to be welded together to finish it off. Does not affect funationality. My friend who was going to do this had his welder gear stolen out the back of his van so that stalled that job and I forgot about it since then. I do have the artwork to be reapplied to this scoop.

Some vandals in the past have carved bum and some other jibber jabber on the head unit plastic but you dont really see it unless you're looking.

I've got some new artwork for it somewhere too (for things inside the cab, not that outside of the cab) and it's got partial led conversion. Some bulbs are the old type as leds make those ones seem a bit too nuclear blast. Have also got a manual too.

I play it on freeplay but last time I tried the coin reader was working although this was before the new pound coins came out.

Everything was working fine when I put it through its paces last night but today when taking the photos the x-wing cannon has thrown up an error ! 😢 Will have a careful look at some point this week and see if it's anything obvious. If you need any other pictures or info please let me know.

It seems I can only attach 30 files at once, so I'll paste a part 2 with the remainder of the photos next.

Cheers,
Johnny

I am buying up an old arcade operators stock. Loads of arcade cabinets and PCBs. He also has a William Diner pinball machine in pretty nice condition. Whats it worth, is anyone interested in it? He said he would take £1500 for it, maybe a bit high??

I think condition is the key to the value, but yeah, if it’s been stored and not used in a while, £1,500 is maybe a touch high if you need to do work. Do you know condition and if it works? Any pictures?

Will get some pictures next week, if anyone is interested.

@jww I'm not sure you'll get much more than £1600-1800 on here. Although Star Wars games generally sell well, because of their title, this isn't a particularly desired Star Wars title. eBay would be your friends best chance to making top dollar.

I have a AIQ PRO that I’m thinking of moving on as I have JJP GNR on route. When I do decide to sell I will be putting it on the site but I have no idea what to price it at. Anyone any idea? It’s mint I got it NIB from Phil in December. It’s been my first pin and I think it’s awesome but to quote Highlander and my wife “There can be only one” 😂

i say put it on for £6k ono. Any more than that and you enter the territory where people think for 500 odd quid more I can have it nib with a warranty

Well I would be very happy if I got that especially given the amount of pleasure the machine has given over the last few months.

I paid £6k for a Pro that was good as new, didn't have any issues with it so after I sold it I considered I'd saved myself £500. *I was tempted to go NIB though.

It just depends how many people are after an AIQ Pro. Think it is the first I've seen put up for sale? If it has a non pooling/chipping playfield then might be better than risking NIB, though I think Stern are now over their playfield problems.

It’s supply and demand most people on this group are so tight and don’t want to lose money on a nib game even though they have had it a year and enjoyed it
It’s pretty much the same people that buy nib games on here all the time but that’s not that many people be interesting to see how many group member s have avengers pro about 5 I recon so this keeps the used value high particularly with the popular titles dp 2 years old now still changing hands for 5-6k same with Jp look at all the wanted adds for new stern games I think this is a good thing as it means nib buyers don’t take a roding every time they want to move it on
