Damp possibly, it was like that when I got it. I didn't even notice it till it arrived

FWIW, If the ball doesn’t complete the orbit at launch you probably need a new plunger armature. It’s game specific and someone may have replaced it with a shorter one.

I am interested in buying a Getaway so more pics would be good, particularly of inside, circuit boards and under the playfield. You may want to check your pictures too, as you have posted the front of a Corvette.

Many thanks or the pics Doug. It seems that everyone who has a "Getaway" is trying to sell it before the prices tumble even further!... even one on Ebay currently at £1000.
I will wait until things settle down a bit. Good luck with the sale.

The one on ebay you’ve noted is at £1k is on auction with 6 days to go and has a fault so you are comparing apples with oranges really.

Sorry I agree and also disagree as both machines show the credit dot after the “Y” so they may have a fault or just a switch that has not been activated. This one looks to have a nicer playfield as richer in colour and not faded and possibly no planking (can not see as the lights are on ). Half tempted myself to buy this for me as its all about the playfield for me not the cabinet
