Heavy hearted sale but need to prioritise things.

-Super Bright LEDs (Some flashers still with bulbs)
-flippers with new bushes and plunges
-Colour PIN2DMD - self assembled version
-batteries replaced with button battery
-re-flowed and checked motherboards
-new rubbers and cleaned about a year ago and only played few times since then. Probably would do with some hoovering and fresh wax.
-no playfield worn except a bit of the shooting lane
-no errors
-no modifications other than color DMD.
-New decals on the backbox
Currently kept at my work place but not used commercially. However got coin acceptor installed and programmed t9 new coins.
Some scratches on the backbox but nothing was ever touched-up on this machine.

Unfortunately light at my shop doesn't really allow me to take a good, bright photos. Machine looks much better and LEDs brighter in real. DMD looks really awesome and vivid.

Yeah. It would be horrible for you, right? 🤮
Especially, that I am forced to sell some of my collection to get missing funds for the mortgage.
I didn't say for my sake. I said for theirs.
If you are in financial difficulty I do hope you can get that sorted.
But whoever pays that sort of money will be heavily out of pocket should they ever want to move it on.
Didn't comment before the sale as it isn't right to do that.

Selling on eBay is very different from getting paid on eBay. 😉

I’ve no dog in this fight but the amount of non payers when games were 1k was bad enough. Can’t imagine it’s got any better as games have gone up in value. I haven’t even bothered looking at the site for years.

Sorry @ChrisFormela for commenting on your sales thread. But looking at it at face value, code and dmd technology aside, the pin looks nicer and more attractive for a family home than many modern Stern pins.

Honestly, if I were new to the hobby and looked at this next to Avatar say....I'd be forgiven for thinking the older pin with a more packed playfield was the more attractive.

There is a unwritten ranking of games in the community and an idea of price. This may not match expectations and attractiveness outside the community. Let's face it, should this and two more like it sell for £5k, it's then a £5k game and most buyers on here would be out, sellers would be rubbing hands together.

I'd never be in the market for a Flintstones, it seems any £5k pin is beyond what I feel comfortable paying, but if the seller sets a price, and finds a buyer then that's both happy. If there is no buyer at a higher price down the line that's a shame, but buyer beware.

Genuinely, Good luck @ChrisFormela , looks like a tidy pin. 👍

Wasn't planning to post anything more but some of you guys are really pathetic. Got no idea what sort of sick joy you got from these comments and laughing reactions.
I'm really not surprised that lot of pinball users is avoiding this forum. Personally met 4 of them.
I had to remove the fb sale post in day 1 because some of you decided to express your "opinion" about it's price and condition. Needles to say that none of you made any offer on it.

I've been through too much **** recently due to the stressing mortgage process and one refusal already. Got 33 pinballs in my collection but 80% are projects. Sale of this pin is crucial for me at the moment so really got no reason for laughing!

Not that it really is your business but yes, it has been sold and paid but I have refunded the buyer due to stupidly high fees. Hopefully the sale will be finalised soon outside ebay.

Thanks for all the nice words in PMs and mobile messages. Still few decent guys here.

I wont be definitely posting any more sales threads here and I would like to ask Paul for removing this and cactus Jacks Threads.

eBay is best with the £1 final fee’s offer.

Iv always fancied a Flintstones at some point as does look like a fun pin but in my mind it’s a £3k maybe 3.5k for nicer one.

Sadly crazy prices cause crazy threads around here :/

What are the other games? Even though projects might be some desirable titles ppl might be interested in?

Perhaps a simple suggestion of an eBay listing in the first place would have sufficed instead of any attack on his price. It’s up to him what he wants to sell it for, if you don’t like it don’t comment. To many mouths engaged before brains.

I would doubt the forum would be offered any of his other games due to the childish playground snide remarks he’s had on his sale post. He’s been a member for well over 10 years here, yet some who have just joined think it’s clever to make price comments and be the joker….

I thought it was a nice example, wether it’s worth 5 grand or not, time will tell and it’s no one’s business how much it gets listed or sold for.

Good luck to the op on his sale.
