Didn't know there was a topper for CFTBL.

Would buy this if I had the game...

I have the Road Show equivalent, definitely not a topper, although you could put it on the backbox if you secure it somehow.

A guy down the road from me is selling a Bally KISS, re stenciled cab, in full working condition except one lamp out. I went to visit it and helped him with a few minor issues (knocker was disconnected, soundboard wasn't working, few bulbs out etc).
It has a playfield overlay with lots of wrinkles. A few of the connectors need repinning and the flippers could do with a rebuild but they play fine.

It's on eBay now, starting bid for 1k

He did offer it to me for around that price but I couldn't look past the playfield overlay, it's wrinkled around posts. I'm not sure how much of a deal-breaker a wrinkled overlay is?

I thought the one lamp out was the SCR but I didn't have enough time to properly look at it.

Are you sure it’s on eBay? Can’t seem to find it?

it's advertised as a Judge dredd. I sent the seller a msg yesterday

He said people had messaged him, but apparently he can't change it. I suppose it limits it's price potential if it's not as visible. But good for whoever wants it. I thought 1500 was just about right but I couldn't bring myself to buy it right now🫣

If anyone from here gets it I'll happily help pack it down and offer an invite to the Pinhaus 5mins down the road 😃

Saw that and thought it looked pretty clean, didnt notice the wrinkled playfield overlay in the pictures but can see it now its been pointed out.

Also wish people would learn just because something is listed on ebay for a price doesnt mean its worth that, otherwise it would be sold not for sale, ref. the backglass he quoted where a chancer is trying to get over £500 for it.

Last year he had it on FB marketplace for nearly 3k. That's when I first contacted him and politely informed him about the price and said I was only down the road if he needed anything. I know that could have been seen as rude but he took it well and has appreciated the help and advice.

He said the previous owner was a guy in the Newcastle area called Anthony, I wondered if anyone knew him. I believe he did the renovation on it

With that Laser Cue, if by "there is a 0 in the display box" the seller means the 7-segment display chip on the Cpu board, then that's the normal indication. Adding the centre segment to make an 8 would show it was blanked out, i.e. the centre segment is equivalent to the 'Blanking' indicator on other generations of Williams Cpu boards.

That additional button is puzzling - if it was to put on credits (and why, with a free play option?) you'd think it would be on the front of the cabinet. Could it be for the Lane Change, as it's placed so a player could press it while holding the flipper(s) raised?

Normally when a properly functioning board boots, the 7 segment LED display will flash "0" briefly and then the display is turned off, and remains off. If within a game, the game would then be in attract mode if everything was perfect. Pressing diagnostics should show a "0" and then return to attract mode with the LED display blank

Any estimates on what this should be worth?
The one line description sure doesn`t help you make up your mind what it is worth. It doesn`t look anything special condition wise but who knows. The game itself for me was hugely disappointing given the brilliant theme. But if it`s what you want then fair enough you have to try them to see how much you enjoy them. I think and it`s only my opinion that anything over half the asking price is a bit of a gamble.

I would say 1500 basic working condition, 2000-2500 restored - “lights up but doesn’t work from there” could mean anything with no internal photos. Looks like one to inspect in person but seems a gamble over £1k to me…
