Colin,
A Test Report should be spelled out in English (or French, or German, depending on what language the machine's set to), not a number like that. And not disclosed unless the door's opened and the Enter button pressed. 750.110 may simply be the score left from the game played before turning it off. As Steve mentioned, there are myriad reasons for the appearance of the ominous dot, such as;
- the time and date not being restored after Ram corruption. the worry with this is did the battery cells leak, damaging circuit board traces?
- the usual result is 'Check Switch ##..', followed by the name(s) of the switch(es) that the program hasn't seen operate for a while. Some games have switches that are able to slip into report status due to being tricky to actually reach, such as White Waters' 'Bigfoot Cave', but I don't recall Bride of Pinbot being one of the frequent offenders. Most Check Switch reports turn out to be broken connections, e.g. switch wiring detached somewhere, not necessarily the switch reported
- more serious are things like (switch) 'Row # Ground Short', or game-specific things such as (for this game) problems with the rotating head mechanism; it has to know which 'face' is showing, in order to use the three solenoids inside it safely. The head's rotated after booting up the machine, to confirm that it can see, as I recall, the 'human' face, and then work from there. One switch indicates that face showing, so initialisation needs to check for that
Ask to see what the report says, whether it's in person or the owner calling it up.
