As Alan says - good for the spares for any firepower owner like me and I just happen to be passing through Leicestershire next week so can pick up. Thanks for the heads-up @H3RBSKI

playfield is horrific..

For £10k I’d also want the flippers aligned correctly, the correct central target and glass trim that wasn’t broken.

Just imagine how bad it must been before it got a full refurbishment
Topper broken/not working. - let’s remove it nobody will notice. but let’s knock £250 off our £15k price.

Playfield. needs replacing, but let the new buyer do that cos it’s a lot of work. £1k off our £15k price

This is our machine and as usual I find members of the forum that I am a member of slagging off someone else's work this particular machine yes has somewhere on it yes we could've touched it up however we decided not to as once its touched up it's no longer original , and other than having LED lamps this table is truly original and as you are aware there are buyers out there that appreciate the patina , it's listed on here for sale for a little over 12 grand we are open to sensible offers however as you are aware and Adams family pinball table is incredibly difficult to put a value as they are for sale by other businesses for in excess of £18,000 so it's 12 grand really unreasonable ,

With regards to the topper it never came with the table I did look to replace it and I could not locate one ,

Hey I get the "reach for the moon and if you miss you'll still be in the stars" pricing approach, but quoting other businesses ridiculous pricing to make yours seem reasonable on this forum won't really work on the trained eye as you're starting to see in the above comments.

Re. 'originality' of this Addams; black rather than chrome legs, cards, and a ****ty Mars coin door. WMS favoured Coin Controls for electronic coin acceptors at the time. Those u.k. sourced Mars doors have the acceptor too high, leaving a large gap between the bottom of the acceptor and the cash box lid.

@Retroleisure I get that you want to keep it original but when the playfield is planking the and insert ware is so horrific its time to either replace the playfield or reduce the price A LOT. Addams Family is close to the largest, if not the largest produced game in the world. Toppers are so easy to find its almost criminal you didn't add one.
Its actually pretty easy to determine a price on a TAF as so many are advertised its not exactly rare its just highly sort after so it creates scarcity at times.

Pricing should be:

In your condition without topper: 5 - 6k I bought one just last year in a simular condition WITH a topper at this price. The cost to actually restore the machine:
New playfield: £1000
New topper: £150
New Ramps: £175
Basic Rubber Set: £20
New Plastic Set: £200
Cabinet Decals: £200 - £300

Then you either need to spend 6+ weeks fitting it all or get someone to fit it and thats not cheap.

Excluding labour and other parts we're already at £8k. By the time you factor in labour and more parts you'll be hitting 9.5-10k.

You want 12k and frankly thats obscene.

It'll be easier for somoene to grab a 8k condition TAF with a better playfield reducing the bill of materials considerably.

Unlike a 1930’s Indian or Harley motorcycle, originality is not desirable when it’s in poor condition. At that price I’d expect a restored cabinet. New playfield, ramps, switches, LEDs, colour dmd. TAF prices have gone even more mental than I thought they could lately but I reckon this is worth half of the asking price at best.
But hey, that’s just me.

What do you know about restored/refurbished TAF’s mate, oh yeah you sold me one for £5k not that long ago and it really was restored/refurbished😂👍

Why is it in some situations honesty and looking out for the fellow man/woman is viewed as slagging off?

There’s no unsubstantiated insults or attacks just honest reactions and thoughts, imo you’re trying to rip someone off who is unaware of the pins true value, maybe your aren’t but that’s how I see it, not personally attacking or insulting you it’s just how I see it.

There’s no way you would touch this Addams for this money and you know it.

Regarding the topper I guess you didn’t look very hard, 5 second google search because I knew these where available in multiple places, take your pick!

This must be one of the rare versions of Elektra on EB :)

Or maybe his camera is just that bad - I can see an Elektra to the left of it :D
