Been holidaying in Scarborough this week and while in one of the Amusements, I was blown away to see the Beatles pin on location (although I now see it has been mentioned on here about it).
It truly is a thing of beauty but the funny thing was I got talking to a guy who worked there. He may even co-own it. But he was telling me that I was one of the few people who came to play the pins. In fact the beatles had very little attention full stop.
They had just bought a star wars pro and he was very excited about owning it. He told me how rare it was and that he thought it would be a big hit.
I gave a little chuckle but didn't have the heart to correct him. The young employee next to him also didn't believe me when I told him the cost of a beatles pin.
But I suppose in an arcade full of Raw thrills arcades that cost 4k a pop with 60" screens and fancy sound systems, I probably wouldn't believe me too.

If you are passing then it is worth stopping by. But I would do it quick as the one other pin(elvis) hasn't been cleaned or maintained since they bought it 8 years ago. So you may be able to buy a fooked beatles in about 10 years from them.

I live in Scarborough and I shared the new Beatles pin when I came across it. The Elvis with the half lit DMD has actually been recently refurbished it was in a even more of a sorry state before with the dirtiest play field I had ever come across.

Really? It is in some state. The rubbers looked like they were one ping away from dying. I was constantly playing with 2 balls. Sometimes 3. I was able to hit a ramp once by sheer luck and velocity. I would hate to have seen it before.

You are pretty lucky to have the beatles on your doorstep mate. Are you the grand champ on it? Think it was 2.5mill. Managed just shy of 2mil but only got a few games.
The star wars Pro was nice. Although I do see why people complain about the bare bones of the Pro.

Yeah it’s actually come out pretty good to be fair considering the state it was in.

No as for the scores I find that Beatles machine very hard but I’m just a casual player I don’t play to get high scores just for fun like my 5 machines I have at home.

You might be surprised how much them Raw Thrills cabs are!

They are all easily more than the Beatles pin! However, sounds like they are making him more money!
