The Arcade Club (Bury) guy

was at this in Jan with the kids on the way back to the ferry, had a surprisingly great time playing terminator 3 got a billion something score, admittedly with the help of the UK skill posts.
The machines where working fine, except for star trek which kept resetting when pressing both flippers. For an arcade environment they where working Well. Adams family was quite fun hadn't played an onsite fully working one for a while, normally the top flipper is useless or main flippers useless.

Yea, that T3 machine is way too easy :p

STTNG is a swine! We've spend countless hours rebuilding it, then it developed that fault after we got it running. Found a bulging capacitor on the main PCB, but no time to swap it. Acually got a spare PCB too. We've been trying to get it off the floor for months, but there's no where to store it. Well... we are building a small pinball workshop that will take one machine at a time. But that's on hold for now.

TAF gets a lot of love, and works flawlessly 99% of the time.

We let kids play the machines now, so the main job is flipper rebuilds. Coils, sleeves, linkages, everything, bc of the kids mashing them. But.... supplies aren't a problem. It's just when flipper rebuilds use up most of your time you don't get to work on restoring the crappy machines.

Having said that.... We've totally rebuilt PZ and JD lately, and they work amazing now :D HS2 is getting the total rebuild treatment now. Where we do a total strip down, deep clean, and then rebuild with new parts.

STTNG is a nightmare. But so good when it's working.

The divertors in the subway were dodgy, which blew the transistors on the board. Besides that the switch matrix and wiring need sorting. There's weird lil short circuits now and then.

So besides all the electronics needing replacing, it plays really good 🤣

Edit: Our TZ is pretty-much bullet-proof. Besides the clock being replaced 3 times. It's just filthy and over-due a rebuild
