Terminator 2 Problem

The start button wont work on my T2. Its got a new rottendog board in.

Ive tried another cpu board, still same. Joined the white and green wires together nothing.

Any ideas?

It's a built in protection feature, it stops you from being disappointed with the game

Start button is on the switch matrix, don't be just shorting the wires together.

Wires should be orange and black (row) and green and brown (column) from the cpu board, and it quite likely terminates in the coin door interface board.

Try touching row 3 to column 1 at the cpu board connectors to see if that starts the game, use any diode to make the connection between the 2 pins

Try tracing the wires to the coin door interface board and give the connectors are reseat. Check for breaks in the wires or failure at the termination points in the connectors

Ive used another coin interface board, same problem. I think ill.make a new molex connector tomorrow.
