Just getting into my new T2 but have come across a couple of issues
1) I thought the top three rollovers could be changed/moved usng the flippers but they don't. Also in video mode the flippers do not move the crosshairs.
2) There's probably a really simple answer to this one but teh lights under the CPU playfield inserts don't work. Where do I look first?

First your flippers...
Do they work?
I presume yes, then you would have to replace the small opto couplers on the driver board.
U7 and U8, a small 6 pin IC 4N25.
Socket those suckers too.

The controlled lamps are fused by F114 on the driver board.
Check this one first.
But then also the 12V would be absent if F114 is blown.

I found the following linked page very good in helping me trace a recent flipper problem...

http://techniek.flipperwinkel.nl/wpc/index3.htm

There is a section on flipper problems which is very in depth and specific to Williams wpc, so should help to trace and rectify. ;)

Thanks for the link. On going there, I find that my PC will not display any of the images, which is not helpful!

I think Peter (2nd post) has the answer.

Which viewer are you using Mike? It shows up fine in internet explorer.

Also this may be of help:

Plus of course a copy of the manual at:
http://mirror2.ipdb.org/files/2524/Williams_1991_Terminator_2_Judgment_Day_Manual.pdf
page 46/118 (or 102/118) will show you the switch matrix to check that the flippers are being registered (switches 11 & 12). Page 108/118 shows the lane change switch on the power driver board (and what Peter was talking about).

D'ya mean the multi-coloured 'Cpu' insert at the centre of the playfield, with four bulbs under it? That's actually a General Illumination 'String' all of its own, just for 4 bulbs. As usual with G.I. problems, look for blown fuses and burnt connectors, in the lower l/hand corner of the power/driver board, e.g. J115, 120, 121.
