XForce was the last pinball made by the Zaccaria Brothers, Marino, Franco and Natale with their company Tecnoplay of the Republic of San Marino. Tecnoplay was their company post Zaccaria and still exists today and is run by their sons.

Peculiarities of this pinball are: 6 players, stereo sound and the flashing lights especially above the bumper pops. This Pinball is a mix in design of Gottlieb, Data East and Bally.
The backglass artwork is based on the promotional artwork for the 1985 James Bond film, "A View to A Kill" which shows the two principle characters standing on the main cable of a suspension bridge. The Payfield image of the two faces is taken from the Bally Midway's 1984 'Spy Hunter' backglass.

Xforce is amazing and each game has unique features you don't see in other games.

The pinball I am selling shows some scratches on one side of the cabinet, and on the playfield exactly to one side of a bumper pop from general play. The rest of the pinball paintwork is in very good condition. The mechanics and electronics are in perfect working order. This is one rare pinball with very few produced.

I am selling Xforce for £ 3800 not including delivery/ shipping.

Please don't hesitate to contact me for further information or explanations and more photos.

I believe the company still manufactures pinball machines.

The current model on their production line is Alien made under contract for Pinball Brothers.

There are a few machines kicking around (my Space Team included) that really need someone to make repros of the MPUs in these!
@Dave2084 has been trying to bring mine back to life but isn't finding it easy!
If anyone else out there wants one (besides the ones I know about, mine and several for machines in Jamie TS' collection...) then please send me a message. If there are enough then I might have a go at drawing one up and getting PCBs made.

Make sure you change that battery so you don't end up in the position that Ross has with his being a really expensive doorstop!

As he says, if there is enough demand a winter project of reproduction MPUs might be in the offing. These were only used in X-force and Hi Ball/Space Team and use a 68k processor.

Hi Gary, Tecnoplay has made only 3 pinball machin . Scramble, Space team and XForce . They then began to import from the US , Alien being one of those imported for the Italian market.

The idea of remaking a CPU for these 2 Tecnoplay pinball machines would not be wrong, unfortunately we need to understand how many Tecnoplay pinballs have been made and of these how many really need a new CPU. The battery problem is solved by acting in advance by replacing it with an NVRAM.

There was a guy who had a faulty one up here in Scotland. The mpu had failed on that I think. I think there's a few that have made it across here.
Regretted not snapping up Ron's when it was for sale. A lot of fun for £850 but I think I was just a little worried about replacement parts at the time

I understand your concern, who would not have it before buying a pinball where only a few units were made.
Let's say that most CPU problems are caused by leaking acid from old mounted batteries. The first thing I did on the X Force MPU, and not only on this pinball , was to replace its old battery immediately with a new button battery .Luckily this XForce MPU is in excellent condition and with this precaution it shouldn't have any problems in the future. Also because this CPU is simple and well made.
What we can say is that XForce was a state of the art pinball for 1987 with the stereo sound ,flashing lights and hugely enjoyable to play .

Remaking the MPU for these games would never be a commercial venture there just wouldn't be enough demand, but I refuse to allow a rare game to be scrapped for the sake a a load of CAD time redrawing it and maybe 2 rounds of PCB prototypes. I'll have another go a fixing it first it is now at least alive after replacing the 68000 (which is on the edge of the acid damage area and 64 pins so an utter pig to replace) but has D0, D7 and D15 all stuck low.

Xforce CPU with the botton battery
For me is the best solution.

Haha, only if you replace the battery with an NVRAM *before* your board gets spoiled. Sadly mine was the other way around. @Dave2084 got it working for a while some years ago, but the rot had set in and it has since failed again. He has been trying to bring it to life for a while now, even replaced the CPU but has had no joy so far. I did wonder fleetingly whether you could use something like a Raspberry Pi instead of the MPU but that looks like an enormous job too. It's such a shame because this machine has a brilliant playfield, the curved plastic wrap-around ramps at the top (or the "toilet bowl" as I refer to it) makes for really interesting play.
