Is it easy to Romberg the back box off a stern pinball?

yes. older 80’s sterns are easy as the backbox is bolted on and relatively few connectors to undo. The more modern sterns are a bit more involved as are hinged to fold down onto the cabinet, so need to unscrew the hinge brackets, and more wires/connectors to disconnect.
