I fitted a flipper rebuild kit to all 4 flippers on a TAF. It had not been used for a few months prior due to a waak flipper, But now the sound comes and goes completey! I don't think it's related? Tried the usual stuff ribbon reseat and sound board connectors but still it persists, a reset brings the sound back for a time but seems longer machine is powered the worse it gets? Not had a chance to check voltages as the pin is not with me and not something I have seen before! Anyone have any idea what the issue might be?

Thanks Ronnie

Hi Ronnie,
should not be related. Measure voltages first and we can take it from there. You can always send it to me ;-)...

Cheers for that lol, I do happen to have a spare sound board, surely it will just be the 12v would need checking? I won’t be at it until later next week

Thanks Ronnie

I had an issue on Black Rose. Longer I played the sound went quieter.and quieter ,sometimes garbled.
I eventually tracked it down to a poor spade connection on the subwoofer. Then I read the speakers were all linked in series .
Cleaned that.and it's been 100% ever since

As above 👆🏼👆🏼👆🏼👆🏼👆🏼 which was pointed out to me by @J.C.Rox a few years ago.

Had the same issue on Taf and indeed it was the spade connector to the subwoofer.
No issues at all years after that.
