Getting a mates TAF sorted and it’s arrived with the cloud screws screwed all the way in. I’ve removed this one with pliers. So all my AF sockets are 6 sided. Apart from putting it back with different screws what’s the answer. 83E2ABAD-A9A0-4E3D-B494-B074A3856A13.jpeg

Tamperproof security screws aren't they? There is some oddball fasteners out there now! I'd remove and throw if you can get them out. Socket wise, it looks like you need something like this...

Unless you can hacksaw a flat from one side to the other and use a flat blade screwdriver. Either way, those are the work of Satan.

Is an Addams cloud topper costly enough to need security screws, for any that are still being operated?
When I do come round, (on the rob) I know what security bits to bring with me. Thanks Paddy. Topper has gotta be £1,000 in this market.

I ended up buying a set of different security bit heads from Amazon for about £7 for exactly this reason. Over the years they’ve proved extremely useful for getting covers off the dishwasher, washing machine etc.

Always allows me to point out that I can mend stuff in the kitchen thanks to pinball 😃
