T518A transistor equivalent

I need a few of the above for IC1 on D/E cpu/driver boards. They're now obsolete.
I can buy some but at my age I don't really wanna sell a kidney.
Has anyone found and used an equivalent. Google gives an equivalent but half the time googles wrong. Ken

Dont like using them, preffering well known and reliable sources like Mouser/digikey... however sometimes if they are unobtainable via the usual channels you have no choice..

Hopefully someone has some kicking aroung in their parts drawers..

I've used aliexpress before and not had any problems. Maybe I've been lucky.

these devices aren't transistors, they are chips that generate the RESET line to cpu etc on power-up
you can't check them out simply like a transistor but a logic probe/scope will tell you if its working okay
never known one to fail unless eaten by alkaline leakage

There must be hundreds of alternatives, transistors are not complicated devices. Just need to make sure it’s the right type and can handle the load the pinout matches.

Oh just read the datasheet why’s everyone calling it a transistor?

It’s actually a little delay timer which holds the reset line low for 350ms. Maybe not as easy to find lol but most reset circuit chips would work as well I reken. Just finding one in correct package and delay.
