Hi all after recently buying my grail pin t2 from a forum member around 6 weeks ago, sadly just can't bond with it, hence moving it on, it's a very nice one with lots of mods and great play field, cab in pretty good shape to apart from dent to left top side rail, and a few scratches, worst to back box left,
Mods are hunters ship, t8000, red eye, chrome cannon and shooter lane, skull topper and clear pop bumper caps£1550 ono

Bargain for someone esp with all those tasty mods, that rough one on ebay is already making more and it's bare, snap it up guys before I get myself a spare ;)

I am not a buyer here, so to quote the former president, "I don't have a dog in this fight".

But given @Archyta5 has been very open about hunting one down for a long time, posted about this on the forum before now, I would respectfully ask that he gets a fair shout here and that a response 15 mins later does not rule him out

Of all my former machines I think the one I miss the most is T2. A simple game but also very satisfying to play.

T'was a bargain, that one on ebay is going crazy, fortunately I'm not a flipper otherwise I would have grabbed it, quick wipe, ebay with an extra £500 stuck on for good measure, you know the drill

Was going to post before but didn't want to de-rail Scott's for sale thread but as it is now sold.

Big  to @Hiro996 I'm sure it wasn't an easy decision and could prove to be an expensive one but respectfully shouldn't it be between the seller and prospective buyers rather than a 3rd party president/pinball police putting pressure on.

Is it setting a precedent that we all have to put a wanted post out there to justify buying?

No problem @Archyta5 . Thanks for the very kind offer but no need.

Perhaps you would be kind enough to offer me first refusal at the same price you paid if you ever decide to sell though?

Thx for the comments all, I know what it's like to miss out on a machine you really want, it happens to me quire often! Hopefully someone will do the same for me one day.

Absolutely mate, consider it done.

There's them that know (Pinballinfo.com), there's them that think they know (ebay punters) and there's them that know ****all (general public), guess who got the bargain ;)

Is it possible to create fake trades on eBay ?. Ie shill your own game without paying the sellers' fees ?

We are now all left thinking that t2 games have just appreciated significantly, but I wonder whether that eBay sale was kosher ?

I would say you can shill bid your own auction - if the con works and the genuine bidder wins the auction the seller pays the fees but makes more out of the sale. If the shill bidder wins the auction, seller can cancel the sale, shill bidder agrees to cancel and the seller gets the fees refunded. Isn't that how it works?

Unless two people really, really wanted that T2.

Think what @mark9 says sums it up. Have never done it but yes you can shill bid your own auction, yes it happens quite a lot, did it happen on the T2, who knows - only time will tell if it is re-listed? Whether price was inflated with the later bids who know but the final bid looked like a 'snipe' with think 3 seconds to go.

Unless you buy off the grid in a cash deal, sniping is the only other buyer's strategy on eBay.

I remember the first time I was sniped. Learnt my lesson.
