Here is a prototype laser canon for the T2 (well TBH is it is good to go unless I go for decals… undecided), moving forward from what has already been done, this design covers the back and also fills the space left of canon front, (see tapered point) it is also a completely new design with regards to shape and cut-outs.
This has a laser fitted which throws a line across the playfield (way better than a poxy dot
), trouble was limiting this to the pf as it goes right up the wall, this was achieved by a tilt down metal flap incorporated into the design (this will also eliminate the risk of kids looking into the laser just to see how bright it is), unit can be focused into a narrow beam (seems wide in pic due to focus) & powers up with the motor. This is a plug and play unit (no croc clips, soldering etc) to finish off it has a red led on the rear which flashes in conjunction with the laser.
