Hi lovely people. Fairly noob here although I promise I'm doing my reading & searching
I have a BK2K that plays (in my amateur opinion) pretty well, with some minor issues, which I'm slowly working through.
One of the things I've spotted is all the flashers are pretty weak. As in, I initially thought that some of them were broken.
Essentially they have very puny flashing.
- in the test they often look weaker, seems the longer they're on (some of them in game for example) if they're lit for a while, the brighter they get
- I'd never describe any of them as reaching the kind of brightness they should, let alone be a real "flasher".
- seems the middle of the solenoid bank is weaker than the two ends (e.g. 01C is visible, 02C is weaker, 03C is barely perceptible, 04C the same, then it gets better again towards 08C. Dunno if that means anythng.
- all the solenoids (so when the relay is on A) work perfectly fine, seemingly as strong as they should be.
- everything's on standard bulbs at the moment, I might go LED later but want to get it working properly before I do.
I understand (now) the A/C solenoid thing and the relay's clicking away - and I assume properly because there's SOMETHING going to the bulbs, and the variance between the brightness in the channels varies I figure it's not the relay (but will keep it in mind).
So essentially the point of the post - is this an often occurring thing with S11? any pointers to the first things to check would be really appreciated.
