The battery pack has come loose on Earthsaker while moving it to the Jersey Museum. Just want to check where to solder it back on (black wire) before going in ham fisted.

System 11 - Adjustment Failure

I'm assuming those wires are for a remote holder, as they wouldn't be there if there wasn't one installed.
In this case the red wire should be connected to the positive side of the holder's solder points (though it seems someone has elected to do this onto the charging diode - no issue with that.)
The black wire should be connected to one of the negative solder points on the battery holder - I would stick it on the top right negative solder point.

the bain of system 11 . and the 04 equivalent on system 4-9
id say 2/3rds of pins I've had of these systems have this fault on arrival
