Having a blonde moment and need some advice...

Swords of Fury. Lower right flipper - weak when energising, you can stop the bat manually and actually move it back and forth whilst feeling the coil energising , when it reaches hold position it is then rock solid and holds as normal.

Upper right flipper fine.

The EOS switch was broken off, so I replaced that. The big yellow capacitor is missing but I believe that is not essential for normal flipper operation.

Coil has correct power and coil resistance fine - same as others.

The flipper is obviously in need of a rebuild - will this sort it out or is something else going on. Is the EOS or flipper switch maybe causing issue ?

Maybe the EOS switch is actually always open due to pitting/sparking?

IE the high power winding isnt ever on.

Yeah my taxi had a really weak flipper and it was all to do with the switch gap mate. Iirc it has to be at its full extension when it opens the switch.
