Just unloaded and tested the Super Mario Pinball. The cabinet is in good condition but the playfield has some badly worn out areas which seems normal for gottlieb pins!!!
Game fires up with a couple of vertical lines out on the Dmd. Sometimes fires the ball out at start others is doesn’t do I guess a sticky switch. This is exactly how it came to me from the op so selling as a project. Both flippers work but top flipper very weak. Many bulbs out or missing.
Comes with legs but are not on in the pictures. I’m guessing with a new playfield this would be a nice machine. Again not a collectors pin but a players.

I picked up 17 pins from an op which some I am keeping others moving on.
 
I'm probably a bigger Gottlieb fan than most on here. Often the system 3's have a full mylar. This looks more like someone's taken a chisel to it. Quite a sorry state. A grand would seem like a bit of a **** take. £1600 is frankly insane.

Which pins do you pick up from the op out of curiosity?

The problem is with alot of op condition pins is they're usual pretty ****ed and need alot of work and money put into them. When they've been in private hands for a while by a forum member, you can 'usually' rely on them being in pretty good shape.

An op pin shouldn't command as much as a pin that's been in private hands for some time. Obviously this depends on title too. I hope you get what you're after for it, but I think you'd struggle at even a grand.

(Yes this isn't a 'how much is it worth thread', I know).

After another look at the pics I'd say the cabinet is pretty battered also. Playfield is a mess at best. This is a project pin. Just the restoration alone would cost more than this pin is worth top end

Its ****ed. I have never ever commented on the asking price of any pins for sale on this forum but this is absolutely ridiculous. Even as a mint restoration you'd struggle to get £1600 for a Super Mario.

It is listed on ukvac also so just want to try and get some money back. I paid around 1k for it which I know is madness so trying to recoup some cash.

Other gottlieb pins are,
Nightmare on elm street with same wear,
Wipeout unwrapped as yet,
Teed off,
Andretti racing,
Waterworld.

Will list others and some Williams games once tested.

If this was parted out would these be fair?

£450 for the boardset and DMD
£200 playfield
£200 Cabinet with coin door
£95 wiring harness with transformer

?


huggers - I have the Dracula here. I haven't fired it up but it's actually decent on initial inspection.
