Hi guys

Need to move this on - space issue as always. Gonna be for sale at the Slam (Worthing) but thought I'd see if anyone wants dibs on it.

Recent top playfield strip and clean, rerubber, Cliffy style posts, Alpha ramp protector fitted. New flipper bats, flippers rebuilt, good and strong. A few LEDs here and there.

Boots error free. DMD good, no warm up time.

Playfield in good shape - minor wear to the large 'hotdog' inserts compared to many I've seen.
Usual 'Neutral Zone' wear - a cliffy would cover it if bothers you.

Main cab very nice - a few nicks, and a small bit of damage to front right at the bottom near left leg - bit of black paint would hide it .

Backbox - nice from front, a few scuffs/scratches to sides, nothing major.

Translite - good.

Legs - OK, minor rust spots.

Only neg points to mention ...............

(1)Someone previously has 'fixed' the GI connectors (J120 and J121) on the power board by bypassing with a connector block. All working fine but should mention it. Was gonna redo but run out of time.

(2) Looks like it has had some minor water damage to bottom of cab in past - a bit near the bottom speaker is 'swollen' a bit. All dry and sound now.

Anyway - some pics. Excuse blurriness of some - I've been bbq and beer all afternoon ;)

Location Brighton - but will be at the Slam if anyone wants to take it home - :) Make it so !

£2000

Maybe trades but really need to make space so ideally a sale unless its something that *really* floats my boat :D

Still think it was one of the most underpriced pins for years. For ages it was under a grand despite the cannon toys, theme and standing in ipdb. Then 2 years ago it almost doubled in price overnight.:( I blame the Virtual pinball lot........

Looks in great condition and a fair price in the asking.
It's a machine that's always got the better of me and because of that I have always said I would get one, if it were not for me being mega full and not a inch of space I would be all over this.

I was thinking about selling mine it hasn't been used in the last couple of months just been collecting dust looking forward to playing some machines at the slam as to what to get next maybe a spiderman or something

Is Star Trek really a £2k machine now? Damn....should have bought one a couple of years ago :(

Yea I believe it should be a 2k machine. Big title, wide body and when you get a really good game going, its awesome, followed by an amazing light show at the end.
For me tho, drain hog. Love the game but drains to easily down the lanes for me.
Nice use of subtle mods grizz. Love coloured posts.

shouldn't be around long.

Isn't there a mod that makes it a little more reasonable with regards to side drains? I was sure someone mentioned it on here before I got mine and I've not been able to find the post about it since.

I got my extended outlane plastics (you can get metal ones) from pinballcentre.eu i believe. Makes for a much more enjoyable game!

Had no idea there was a mod. Bugger. Had 2 of these machines and I put elastic bands around the outlanes on both to stop this drain lol but that was several years ago.

trade you a very nice roadshow with mods and 400 cash for st :)

In my opinion, the right hand drain is the worst culprit. My very easy, virtually free, mod is to remove the upper right post from under the right slingshot plastic, and if needed fit a slightly smaller slingshot rubber. This creates a funnel into the return lane, and balls catching the slingshot post tend not to be automatically sent to the outlane as before.

What a cracking tip, and it's free.

A quick poor mobile phone pic of my extended outlanes....not much extra on them but they make a whole lot of difference to the gameplay.

This is all fascinating extended outlane stuff ,................but anyone wanna buy a STTNG ? ;)
GrizZ haven't you heard? There's no such thing as bad publicity. Everyone starts talking about STTNG then the general interest goes up. Someone asks so where can I buy one? We all say .........

.............?

........................? C'mon you thick ***** We all say go buy the one that GrizZ is selling.

Presumably it does it via my IP address. I'm here again in the land of clogs and tulips for work, twice a month. Let me know if you want anything (but it's gotta be smallish as my bike is parked at heathrow, and pref no liquids as I tend not to check any bags in). And no, I'm not bringing you that.

Got to be worth 1600-1800 quid. We all know prices have dipped since last year's peak, still not sure if it's a trend or post xmas ebay bleakness.

Nice to know, , thanks for the offer..
JohnParkin Is after a scout to check out the condition of a TX Sector over in Holland.

Cheers for that - always good when people suggest lower prices on a For Sale post  Wasn't this discussed at length before ?

STTNG for sale - 2K

Maybe I was wrong to assume the standard rules of sales don't apply :P

Real price = price for sale - 10%
Firm price = I dont want to sell it but will take that price if someone is that desperate.
